All my life, I've always looked up to other professional authors as heroes. Not only were they a prime example to me of what good storytelling, brilliant thinking, and hard work looked like, but they inspired me to pursue something I always have love to do: Write.
From the time I was young, I have always been an avid reader and loved to write stories. In my writing classes, I would often get marked on my papers for going off track with my stories! I would just get so caught up in my own imagination that I would forget I had a structure to keep to! But, even though I couldn't always express myself like I would have liked, I soon found that I love to write stories, like the fairy tales I read.
And when I thought about writing a book, at first I was thinking, "Well, that's TOO big of a task." But then that daunting feeling was soon replaced with confidence. What finally inspired me to sit down and start writing was this one thought.
"If they can do it, I can do it!"
Also, shout out to Shannon Messenger, JK Rowling, Rick Riordan, Christopher Paolini, JRR Tolkein, and C.S. Lewis, and more, all authors from the past and present who deeply motivated me and inspired me through their writing to become one of them: An Author
